Webinar: De-mystifying Succession Planning

Webinar Description:

This webinar will cover three components of succession planning: emergency continuity planning, planned-departure succession, and building leadership depth to keep staff transitions smooth across the organization. We'll identify the people, data and activities that are common to all three components, and explore approaches that are working in Community Action and other nonprofits -- the process (who leads, who participates, what are the steps?), the product (what content and in what format?), and the timing (at what point in an executive staff member's tenure should we begin planning for succession?).  You'll leave this conversation energized with ideas and resources to develop or improve your succession plans in ways that will also strengthen your present-day, 'real' work as a Community Action leader.

Presenter: Meghan Johnston, Johnston & Associates
